The most beautiful island in Scotland. Peace and tranquility, a true vacation. Excellent accomodation in a magical island with wonderful beaches and scenery; wild flowers, birds, woodland, ancient ruins and very friendly people. The island is just 60 km from Oban, on the west coast of Scotland and is served by large, comfortable and frequent ferries. The sea-crossing takes about 2 hours and is part of the holiday - there is a restaurant on board and all ships carry cars.

Welcome to the Isle of Colonsay. Colnatarun Cottage is located on the west of the island, 4 miles either way, from the Pier, Colonsay Hotel and Colonsay General Store. With rough pastures and hills all around and views of lovely Loch Fada to the South and the sea to the West, it is an ideal base for nature lovers, walkers,cyclists, bird watchers and beach loving kids.
